Therefore, individuals who desire full criminal history records may need to contact the Criminal Justice Information Service (CJIS) Division of the state’s Department of Public Safety, which provides access to a Personal Identifier Search and a Fingerprint-Based Search for criminal history records.

The Personal Identifier Search grants requesters access to all open record information, including arrest information, charges filed, and convictions. It costs up to $15, and it can be completed online through the Missouri Automated Criminal History Site (MACHS). The Fingerprint-Based Search, on the other hand, is restricted to the holder and to other qualified requesting entities, such as attorneys and government officials. It costs up to $20 per request, and it provides access to complete and closed criminal history information.
